ABOUT THE PROJECT The objectives of the network are:
to continue to foster local ownership and regional collaboration between NGOs in the Black Sea area;
to create linkage to civil society from specific conflict-settings;
to forge common approaches of key regional actors and the EU to strengthen the role of civil society and unlock their peacemaking potential;
to strengthen peacebuilding capacities at local policy and grass roots level;
to improve efficient communication and advocacy at the EU policy level by providing opportunities for networking.

Strengthening Moldovan mass media capacity to report and monitor security sector reform and Transnistrian conflict settlement
The project "Strengthening Moldovan mass media capacity to report and monitor security sector reform and Transnistrian conflict settlement" was implemented by the Institute for Public Policy with the financial support from the National Endowment for Democracy between February and July 2012. The Institute for Public Policy provided professional training to 30 Moldovan journalists and informational support (informational briefs for journalists) on the issues relating to the security sector reform and the Transnistrian conflict settlement.
