Workshop on the relationship between the Court of Accounts and central public administration
The Institute for Public Policy and the Moldovan Court of Accounts organized on October 17th a workshop on the relationship between the Court of Accounts and the central public administration. The purpose of the workshop was to analyze the main problems that hinder the implementation of the Court’s of Accounts recommendations and to identify solutions for enhancing the role of external audit in the process of managing public funds and public property. Workshop for journalists: Investigative journalism on issues regarding the efficiency of public money use and the implementation of the Court of Accounts recommendations
The Court of Accounts of Moldova, the Institute for Public Policy and the Center for Investigative Journalism held on Wednesday, February 27th, a workshop for journalists interested in covering the issues regarding how efficient the public money is used. The workshop aimed to train journalists to understand how the Court of Accounts works, what are the key elements of an audit, and the best methods for investigative reporting. This workshop is a part of the IPP project - “The Court of Accounts’ Recommendations: Advocacy for Transparent and Efficient Use of Public Money”.

The Institute for Public Policy and the Court of Accounts signed on Monday, January 28th 2013, a Memorandum of Understanding on implementing the Project - “The Court of Accounts’ Recommendations: a tool for the efficient use of public funds”.
