The Institute for Public Policy has organized the first clusters meetings focused on the Millennium Development Goals. These meetings are parts of the project “Civil Society and private sector as contributors to Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) implementation” managed by the Center for Economic Development (CED), Sofia as a project leader, the Independent Think-Tank EXPERT-GRUP (Chisinau) and the Institute for Public Policy (Chisinau), as main partners.

On 28th of February:

  • Cluster for MDG 3 “Promote gender equality and empower women
  • Cluster for MDG 5 “Improve maternal health”

The clusters bring together important representatives of civil society, private sector, governmental institutions and international organizations. Our expectations were met and the working group members shared useful information from their experience, so that the studies shall be qualitative, relevant and useful.

The experts in charge with the studies are:

  • Daniela Terzi-Barbarosie – national consultant for MDG 3, Director, Centre for Partnership and Development”
  • Maria Tarush – national consultant for MDG 5, Director, Centre  for Temporary Placement for Children
