Strengthening civil society organizations capacities in the security zone of the Republic of Moldova
Implementation period: November 2012 – May 2013
Overall objective:
- To develop and consolidate the capacities of the CSOs from the security zone in the Republic of Moldova (both from the left and right banks of the Nistru river) in order to increase their participation in decision-making, improve local problem solving skills and foster the quality of the partnerships between CSOs within the region.
Specific objectives:
- To improve the skills of at least 25 selected CSOs representatives from the security zone to undertake advocacy activities, strategic planning and communication with decision-makers and beneficiaries.
- To strengthen the capacity of at least 25 selected CSOs representatives from the security zone to participate in designing and implementing sustainable development strategies, by helping them build micro-macro linkages between grassroot development issues and overall national development priorities.
- To foster networking and alliances between CSOs from the security zone for cooperative work on the most pressing local issues.
The project is implemented with the support of the Democracy Grants Program of the United States Embassy in Moldova.
